My daughter has done these bags and the instruction.
Tyttäreni on tehnyt nämä laukut ja ohjeen.
You can use the pattern nro 1) or 2). I used the nro 1 because I had not enough fabric. For the first bag I used old jeans!
Voit käyttää jompaa kumpaa kaavaa. Jouduin käyttämään kaavaa nro 1, koska kangasta oli niin vähän. Tein laukun vanhoista farkuista.
Do not sew it completely closed. Leave open for about 10 cm.
Jätä kääntöaukko n. 10 cm.
Nice bags you made.

Kivoja kasseja. Tulee hyödynnettyä farkut. Minullakin on pojan farkkuja odottamassa uusiokäyttöä. Hienoa, kun julkaisette myös kaavat ja teko-ohjeet.

This is a lovely bag too but I LOVE!! the one that's on your header. Goodness. Everything you've shown on your blog has one thing in common: an amazing amount of patience to put tremendous effort into the very last detail. And yet, nothing is overdone. Someone above said, "gentle colour combinations" I ditto that. So much talent, good taste and patience! You're an inspiration. And generous: "copying allowed", in this copyright infringement paranoid world.
ReplyDeleteHi Ulla, nice to see your blog as well. You make beautiful things! Hope to see you again on my blog!

ReplyDeletewow..really love the design of your bags. . .cool..
ReplyDeletewellhead compression
really like the look of this bag - nice and simple, but can be embellished to your hearts content!
ReplyDeleteTwo things (and I might just be being blonde at this point!):
1) do you need to make the contrast fabric any larger than the main fabric, or does the pattern take this into account?
2)long long is the strap and how is it attached?
Sorry - I'm a bit of a newbie to this malarkey :)
